Shepards Pie

Shepards Pie


  • Potatoes
  • Turnip
  • Tin ham
  • Tin peas
  • Cheese


  1. Peel 3 Potatoes and half the turnip.
  2. Boil the potatoes and turnip together for 20 mins.
  3. Open tin of ham and chop into small pieces.
  4. Put chopped ham in bowl.
  5. Open peas, drain and add to ham.
  6. When potatoes and turnip are cooked drain the water off and mash with butter.
  7. Put the mash over the top of ham and peas.
  8. Put in oven for 10 min gas ,mark 4, 170c, 325F.
  9. Remove from oven and grate cheese over top.
  10. Return to oven for 10 mins check the cheese does not burn.
  11. Serve.
