Greek Salad

Greek Salad

  • Preparation time: 15 minutes
  • Serves 4


  • Lettuce
  • 4 beefsteak Tomatoes
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 250g Feta cheese, diced
  • 24 pitted black olives,
  • 125ml Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • freshly ground salt and black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Oregano
  • Onion, sliced
  • French bread
  • Margarine


  1. Cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise, cut out the core, and cut each half into 4 wedges. Put the tomatoes into a large salad bowl, and add the cucumber, feta cheese, onions and olives.
  2. Spoon over the olive oil and lemon juice. Season with sea-salt and freshly ground black pepper, bearing in mind that the feta is very salty. Toss gently to mix. Sprinkle the salad with fresh oregano and serve immediately.
